At Famliy Physician Jobs
we have one goal: To efficiently and affordably connect physicians with
opportunities for service. To do this we have chosen to keep this site
as simple and direct as possible, making it easy to find just the
information that is desired. This is why we do not accept perpetual ads
in our listings and we do not sell priority listings.
Support for underserved
populations
We especially want to empower communities and
organizations serving rural and other medically underserved populations.
Because these groups are often doing a very good work with very limited
resources, our listing fee is not only affordable but it is also
voluntary.
No advertising
We do not accept banner advertising because that often
not only introduces bias into a service but also hinders the usability
of a service through banner loading times and the motivation to split
information across multiple pages to increase banner impressions.
Instead, we believe that the small voluntary listing fee greatly
enhances the value of this service, and it allows us to provide it in
accordance with our primary goal.
Limited listing time
To keep this service as accurate and worry-free as
possible, listings automatically expire 3 - 4 months after they are
submitted. This allows adequate exposure while limiting the number of
contacts if an opening has been filled.
Who we are
This site was created and is maintained by people who
have worked in primary health care and who desire to serve family physicians and their employers. Our site is not
connected with any healthcare organization, so you can be assured that
the information presented here is unbiased and any information you share
